Rivers for Change is kicking off their 12 Rivers in 2012 stewardship and conservation campaign to paddle down 12 critical California watersheds Source to Sea throughout the year. Come join them on the Yuba River on Thurs, Jan 12th. Bring your own boat, a lunch, and a change of clothes. Paddle from Parks Bar to Hallwood Blvd. (10.9 miles class I and II with one mandatory portage around Daguerre Dam). Meet at 9:30 am at Parks Bar. We will unload gear and then run a shuttle down to Hallwood Blvd, before getting on the river. Paddle goes rain or shine. Free, will be required to sign a liability release.
