, 2017-Grateful students, grateful rivers, Rivers For Change
Thank you to our Student Ambassadors, volunteers, and donors!

2017 was a big year for Rivers for Change.  The contributions that volunteers and supporters have made over the year allowed Rivers for Change to develop a solid foundation upon which to build river-related programs and events that engage and enlighten our communities.
With your help, we were able to reach over 720 students with school presentations, provide outdoor on-shore education to 125 students, and allow an in-depth opportunity for 10 student ambassadors to engage, paddle, learn, and teach their fellow students about the Truckee River Watershed.

It is a critical time to train the next generation of leaders and stewards and Rivers for Change is extremely proud to be able to help facilitate this opportunity. But we need your help to continue these programs and expand them!

We are a volunteer-run organization with extremely low overhead, so your year-end contributions go directly to programs that connect people to rivers to increase source to sea literacy.

Please help us continue to connect people to rivers.  Your donation will ensure that we have the resources needed to effectively deliver and expand these programs and develop new ones.
