Earth Week-Spring Clean-Plogging, Pladdling, Pliking

Earth Day is Thursday, April 22nd and we’re celebrating our wonderful earth, joining people from around the world, and giving back to the place we call home! Will you join us?
Rivers for Change and the Mermaid Series invite YOU to go plogging, pliking, or pladdling. Head out on a jog, paddle, or hike and pick up litter along the way.
You can head out on your own or gather in small pods masked, gloved, and socially distanced.
Encourage friends and family to support your efforts by pledging money towards every bag of litter you pick up!
- Give the Earth a Hug: $100
- Hi-Five the Earth: $50

- Donate directly, join our Facebook Fundraiser, or create your own fundraiser.
- Enter to win a swag bag:
- Create your own fundraiser and encourage friends to support each bag of litter you collect.

- The top 3 fundraisers and the top 3 photos will win a Swag Bag!

2. Challenge your friends to donate for each bag of trash you pick up or create your own fundraiser.
3. Take photos of the litter you pick up and share your stories with us on our Facebook event page or on Instagram @riversforchange and @mermaidseries with the tag #plogging4earth
4. If you are within a 310-mile radius of Sausalito, CA we encourage you to join our Litterati challenge and help track how much litter we can pick up through the end of April!
5. Download Litterati and then use code: 765191 to join our local challenge.
