“A river seems a magic thing. A magic, moving, living part of the very earth itself.” ― Laura Gilpin
Rivers for Change celebrates our 5th year of connecting people to rivers and promoting source to sea literacy! Thank you for being a part of our journey!
Whether you’ve joined us in the past on a river cleanup, community paddle, a race, a training, at a film festival, or on a source to sea, we are honored to have you as a part of the Rivers for Change family.
Your involvement in 2016 helped us host a sold out Wild and Scenic Film Festival on Tour, multiple river trainings, the 4th running of the Cal 100, and several on water trash cleanups!
We hope you’ll join us for an exciting 2017! We’re launching our Source to Sea School on the Truckee River later this year to connect more youth to rivers while increasing source to sea literacy! And stay posted for a very exciting media project we’ll be rolling out in the New Year!
As Rivers for Change continues to grow, we need your help to move forward and help us fulfill our vision of a world where people and communities are active stewards of river systems with a holistic understanding of their interconnectedness and interdependence.
Please consider a tax-deductible end of the year gift by givinghere. Rivers for Change is made up of a passionate group of river enthusiasts dedicated to changing the way people think about and interact with water and we can’t do that without you. Thank you for your support!
Wishing you a wonderful New Year full of adventure, paddling, and stewardship! -Danielle, John, Judy, Matt, and Stephen (the RFC Board of Directors)
