This year’s November 2nd Battle of the Bay was a fundraiser for Rivers for Change! The race was a huge success, and jump started our end of year giving by raising over $3,000 to support RFC’s mission. Over 70 paddlers hit the water with clear skies. And a great question in their minds. What river do you shower in?

A huge thank you to everyone who showed up, paddled, and supported our mission.

Extra special shout out to the amazing David Wells from Redwood Water Sports, Stephen Pugh from Blue Rush, Jen Fuller from Fuller Fitness, and the announcer John Hadley

Thank you to the Sponsors: OSMO,  Best Day Brewing, Jambar, Maureen Manley and Aline Wachsmuth providing bodywork, and Infinity for donating a SUP to the cause!

Battle of the Bay in Sausalito, CA

Outrigger Canoes, SUP, Surfski, rowers, and prone paddlers all raced together with all proceeds after expenses being donated to RFC.

If you want to increase your paddling for a purpose this season and get your friends and family to support your training and racing efforts, create a fundraising campaign with Rivers for Change’s Move with Purpose campaign!

It’s a great way to give back and say thanks to these drops of water you recreate on!

Paddles up!
