BIG NEWS! We’re thrilled to welcome Kami Ann Bakken to the Rivers for Change team, serving as the Director of the RFC Ambassador and Grant Programs. She will be leading the charge on expanding our community of river advocates (more news to come on this soon!).

Kami Bakken
Kami comes to us with a wealth of river knowledge from guiding on Southwest and Northwest rivers in Colorado, Utah, Idaho and Montana. Her advocacy spans outdoor spaces (especially those involving waterways), amplifying underheard narratives and delving into the policies that shape these areas. She brings a passion for the intersection of storytelling, community and intentionality within the conservation world and is excited to apply this to the work she’ll do with RFC.

Beyond her advocacy endeavors, Kami spends her time playing outside on boats, bikes and skis and basking in the sunshine – accompanied by a strong love of breakfast burritos and donuts!
We can’t wait to unveil what Kami has been working on!
